The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
